Many children benefit from an early evaluation around ages 3–4, especially if there are concerns such as mouth breathing, snoring, speech concerns, crowded teeth, etc. Early evaluations allow us to support healthy growth and development during important developmental years.

Not every child will need treatment at that age, but early guidance can help identify concerns before they become more complex later on.

The ALF appliance is designed to be very discreet, and most people won’t notice it during normal conversation or smiling. Visibility can vary slightly depending on individual tooth spacing or missing teeth.

Some temporary speech changes are normal at first, much like when starting clear aligners. Most patients adjust within a few days to a week as their mouth naturally adapts to the appliance.
